PERSONALITY/GIMMICK
"Yo, what's up! Welcome back to MarkTV! Starring me. Mark TV!"
YouTube sensation and social media superstar, Mark Tristan Velasco has made a name for himself doing crazy shit on the Internet. Everything from reactions to challenges to pranks to tutorials and whatever else he can think of. Mark's one of those individuals that made YouTube his life as early as he could. He amassed a following early on and has continued to grow as time passed by making it a point to change with the times and the trends while still staying true to his jovial, smug and sassy nature. He's hardly ever serious, sometimes offensive and always both self-aware and self-promotional.
Mark's passion and heart lies behind his Internet presence and viewership. He loves the attention and his fans more than most things. However, he does find a healthy love for pop culture, professional wrestling, gaming and, perhaps most importantly, girls takes up what free mental space he has in his head. He's the kind of individual that probably shouldn't be allowed to perform professional wrestling moves for money and yet... here he is. Thanks to a #MakeMarkDoIt Challenge getting over 100K likes.
Stylish, ostentatious, loquacious and obnoxious to a fault, MarkTV presents himself in a manner that doesn't leave much to the imagination. He doesn't hide behind his internet persona, he actually is one of the rarities that actually is the same person he presents himself to be online. He expresses himself through vids, his love of pop and geek culture, fashion and selfies. Rumor has it that a lot of professional wrestlers are simply turned up to eleven. Well, in Mark's case, he's gotta' turn down.

WRESTLING STYLE: Streamin' Showboat
TENDENCY TO CHEAT:
- Never
WEAPON OF CHOICE: MarkTV.com
MarkTV does some of his best work on his channel. Combining the efforts of his video editing ability, green screen and the fact that he films everything, MarkTV can often use this channel to get more people behind him, trick or prank his opponents or generally be a nuisance to those that he feuds with. He's a gamer and often will use his expertise to play games with his opponents.
IN-RING EXPERIENCE: MarkTV's experience in the ring is somewhat limited. He spent a year going through the training and process at a Performance Center in Los Angeles. After this, he took some time to check out a few house show. He live reacted these event and then got another #MakeMarkDoIt Challenge to try out for professional wrestling! A 100K Likes later and MarkTV signed on the dotted free agency line. He's sort of learning as he goes but leans more on being stylish, flashy and entertaining than anything else.
STRENGTHS:
1. Fanbase: MarkTV cares the most about his fanbase and viewership. He feeds off their energy and their love. Likes, Subscribers, Views... these are all the things that keep him going. This transfers to the live shows as well as the more into him the crowd is the better he can perform.
2. Quicktime: MarkTV is small, super small and crazy athletic. This puts him in a class of his own where he's capable of pulling off moves out of nowhere and faster than most. Reversals and counters into submission moves, finding ways to get out of harm's way and flying around the ring are all facets of his wrestling style.
3. Unpredictable: MarkTV is not a professional wrestler in the traditional sense. This makes him hard to read or predict. He's difficult to pin down because he doesn't act or perform like a professional wrestler would in any given situation. He acts more like a YouTube personality and Social Media Maestro than a wrestler. He often uses this to his advantage to keep his opponents from falling into a rhythm or to suck the momentum and wind out of their sails.
WEAKNESSES:
1. Likes: MarkTV goes out of his way to be flashy and a showboat. He'll often spend time talking to the cameras or dabbing or dancing around while in the ring. He's an attention whore through and through and sometimes to his own detriment.
2. Inexperienced: Professional wrestling became a secondary gig for him on a whim. He's learning as he goes. He knows enough about how to handle himself in the ring to not die but he's got a long road ahead of him if he's going to be a capable professional. Or even take it seriously.
3. Thirsty: Not even gonna' lie, MarkTV loves the ladies. Some people like to call him thirsty but he considers himself to be more along the lines of searching for that special someone. He's a serial "dater" and completely open and casual with his relationships so much so that he can't (or won't) settle down into any kind of exclusivity. He's got too many years ahead of him to be worried about that.
IN-RING ATTITUDE: MarkTV is the same way in the ring as he is on his channel. Loud, obnoxious, fun, entertaining and hard to not watch. There are times he may get mad or upset but those are few and far between. He spends a huge chunk of the match, making sure he's interacting with or performing for the fans, both live and live-streaming. He'll often find himself performing crazy stunts or moves for the likes and the views more than he's trying to win the match. He does know and understands that winning gets him more success and he wants success but he just wants the attention more. A loss with a million views is better than a win with 10K views.

BIOGRAPHY
Mark Tristan Velasco is a Filipino-American that spent the early years of his life as an individual just going through the motions of his life. Then he found YouTube. Being able to express himself through the Internet gave him an opportunity and the freedom he needed to truly find who he was. Supported by his close friends and family, Mark Tristan Velasco transformed himself into MarkTV.
As MarkTV he grew up in front of his Followers and showed his love for geek and pop culture, fashion and gaming. He dabbled in other trending things as the years went by but always seemed to be at the forefront of whatever the next big thing was. Going viral was a normal occurrence for him and he climbed the social influencer charts with relative ease.
As his channel grew, MarkTV started to broaden his style and became more interactive with his fans. He explored almost every Challenge on the Internet, even going so far as to create a #MakeMarkDoIt section of his channel where he would post a series of things he was interested in and let his MPCs decide the next direction of his life. This is how he ended up in Kingdom Pro.
100K likes sent him down the grueling task of training to become a professional wrestler at a performance center in his hometown of Northridge, California and now he plies his professional wrestling trade as a free agent.
