PERSONALITY/GIMMICK
Scotty's overall demeanor and style comes across as a fun-loving, rock 'n rolling, party dude that's just trying to have as many excellent adventures as humanly possible. He's been thrown from the wrestling ring into a whirlwind of time traveling shenanigans that keeps him on his toes. As a product of the 80's decade, Scotty often finds himself at odds with the bullies and meanies of the world but he's all about doing the right thing and having fun doing it. Sometimes he may seem to be a little flighty, aloof or any simple-minded but that may just be a product of coming from a time when things were a lot more relaxed. He's a lot more clever and witty than he is smart but thinks outside of the box in a way that keeps him out of trouble... but also gets him into it. Scotty has the heart of a hero and won't stand for anyone thinking otherwise.
MATCH INFORMATION
WALK OUT MUSIC: "Back In Time" by Huey Lewis & The News
ENTRANCE:
The sound of thunder punctuates the lightning strike that flickers the lights in the arena. Smoke fills in the center of the stage and fades as the lights finally stabilize after being rocked by the electrical surge. As the smoke fades away to reveal the phone booth sitting in the center of the stage, Back In Time by Huey Lewis and the News rocks through the sound system. The door of the phone booth gets pulled open and out steps Scotland "Scotty" McCall, Esq. in all of his time traveling splendor.
He climbs out of the phone booth and looks around as if he's not exactly sure where or when he is. He takes a moment to lean back and raise his arm up as if he’s checking his watch. Even going so far as to raise his 3D sunglasses up. As things make more sense he makes his way down to the ring, interacting with the fans along the way and rocking his air guitar to the music. There's a whole mess of fistpumping and waving his hands in the air (like he just doesn't care) and it's this whole party vibe as he air guitars down to the ring. He's just loving it.
At the ring, he hops up onto the apron and slingshots himself into the ring. He rocks out the rest of his air guitar concert for the fans while in there, hopping up on the ropes and the turnbuckles to jam out. Eventually, he calms down, his music fades out and he prepares to get down to the business of his match.

WRESTLING STYLE: High Flying Technician
-- DDT Dude: Scotty made it a point in his training to focus on the DDT as one of his most commonly used moves. He takes pride in learning how to use various variations of the DDT, especially being able to mix them with his high flying abilities and using them to awesome effect during matches. He will often focus on using the DDT a lot in an effort to set up his opponents for his finisher.
-- Moonsault Maestro: In order to bridge the gap between his technical prowess and his high flying skills, Scotty has focused on the moonsault a as a move that he's taken it upon himself to put into his repertoire. He loves the way the move can be done from down on the mat or while using the ropes and often seeks out opportunities to let these explode out of his skill set often and with practiced ease.
-- High Flying Hero: Where Scotty truly shines is when he's flying through the air. He has no regard for his own personal safety and tends to take risks even when he doesn't have to. He'll leap, flip, jump and whatever off anything and everything from the ring ropes to the top of a cage to the roof of the building if it comes to it. He uses impressive athleticism, speed and a complete disregard for his own safety to amass a following of people that love to see him and his daredevil antics. It's totally fun flying too, dude.
TENDENCY TO CHEAT: Not Exactly. Not to Win. Maybe to even the score.
WEAPON OF CHOICE: Air Guitar / Nike Air MAGs / Hoverboard
IN-RING EXPERIENCE: 2019 (Debut)
STRENGTHS:
1. Fandemonium - Scotty feeds off the fans and the people that cheer him on. The more they love him, the more they cheer for him, the better he performs. He loves giving his all for the people that actually dig him. He's never really had recognition or fame before so he embraces it completely and lets it fuel him to do great things in the ring.
2. Rock 'n Roll - Scotty doesn't know when to quit. He doesn't understand when something is probably too dangerous. He goes all out from the beginning of the match to the end. Soon as that bell rings, he's firing on all cylinders and is like a whirlwind of action. He's hard to keep up due to his size and speed and almost seems to run on an Energizer battery or something because he almost never shows signs of slowing down... on his own. Wyld Stallyn, indeed.
3. Time Circuits On - Scotty is a time traveler. He's been to the future, to the past and all around the present. He's picked up moves from various wrestlers that haven't even been born yet and from some as far back as the beginning of this industry. The collective knowledge compiled in his simple brain allows Scotty to act, react and function in a way that makes him hard to predict. He's a natural when he's thinking outside of the box and doing crazy stuff that wouldn't make sense to linear minded people. He's a hard nut to crack.
WEAKNESSES:
1. Nobody Calls Me... - If there's one very obvious and even known weakness of Scotland "Scotty" McCall... it's the fact that he can't actually handle being called Chicken. Coward, Yellow Belly... anything in that same wheelhouse kind of sets him off into a blind rage. Not exactly of violence but more along the lines of getting himself involved with craziness or in over his head. He doesn't think clearly when he feels that someone doesn't think he's up to whatever challenge. They say this is a McCall Family Flaw.
2. Out Of Time - Scotty McCall is from 1985. He's an 80's dude trying to live in a time that he's not exactly sure about. Granted, he's picked up some things along the way due to being in a whole lot of different time periods but he doesn't always know or understand how things work in 2019. He may also come across as kind of weird, his pop culture references may be off and he's not exactly hip. These things could play a part in how he handles himself both in and out of the ring. He's also pretty naive and could fall victim to some of the more sinister minds.
3. Huey New-To-This - Scotty McCall has been trying to be a wrestler for three years prior to actually getting signed to KINGDOM Pro. He always failed every audition he had. He's got the training and the basic knowledge but he's never really been able to break through the crash ceiling until now. This puts him in a very vulnerable and rookie position in the ring. He's still got a lot of growing to do when it comes to professional wrestling and sports entertainment as a whole. Even if he is a natural talent, he still hasn't had time to hone his talents into being a full fledged skills. Or has he?
IN-RING ATTITUDE: Wyld. That's probably the most efficient way to describe how Scotty acts in the ring. He's wild and crazy, leaping off anything he can and living the life of a trapeze daredevil within the squared circle. No regard for his own safety or body and more focused on doing insane things to get the crowd excited that he's performing for them. He's all about speed and spots as he uses impressive agility to try and keep his opponents from keeping up with him. His Babyface attitude often shines through during his matches as he's laughing, smiling and having a good time. He often even tries to get his opponents in on the fun by playfully taunting them whether he's winning or losing in a match. He's a whole lot of rock 'n roll.
SUPPORTING CAST
1. NAME: The Professor
RELATION: Nobody really knows The Professor's actual name. They do know he knows more about everything than anyone else. He befriended Scotty the Future/Past and gifted him with his Time Traveling Phone Booth... kind of. He's currently Missing due to some bad people and Scotty's the only one that can find and save him. Y'know, if he doesn't run out of time.
[David Tennant]
2. NAME: Scotland "Scotty" McCall (2035)
RELATION: Scotty... from 2035. He doesn't exactly exist in this timeline but he does (has?) left messages for Scotty (1985) to watch and consume. The communication is semi-one-way because Scotty (2025) is Scotty (1985) and so the messages he leaves he already knows about or will know about so to talk back to Scotty (2035) all Scotty (1985) has to do is think. It's complicated. More complicated than it has any right to be. Scotty (2035) is also a Wrestling Veteran, Former Champion and Father.
BIOGRAPHY
Scotty was in the middle of trying to take his career to the next level when his life was thrown upside down by getting mixed up into these time traveling shenanigans. With his personal timeline all out of sorts, Scotty has taken it upon himself to live the life he's not sure he was going to have before he got mixed up with The Professor.
Scotty botched his professional wrestling audition and things weren't looking too well for the young upstart. He was back in his garage at his parent's house about to give up on his wrestling dreams, packing up his wrestling posters and gear, when a phone booth appeared out of nowhere in front of him. Out stepped an individual that introduced himself as The Professor and he wanted to give Scotty a chance to see what he'd be giving up on. He used the phone booth to take Scotty to the future and showed him a brief glimpse of what his successful wrestling career looks like. It was all an attempt to stop Scotty from giving up.
However, as they attempted to return to 1985, the phone booth was damaged by people after The Professor for stealing their equipment to build the time machine in the first place. The Professor sacrificed himself so that Scotty could get away in the one thing that the bad dudes wanted to get their hands on. Unfortunately, the time circuits were damaged in the escape and Scotty ended up in the UK... in 2019. Severely lacking the smarts to fix the phone booth on his own, Scotty takes another shot at professional wrestling glory and auditions for KINGDOM Pro and manages to score a contract... at the same time as finding 2019's version of The Professor to fix the phone booth... before The Professor is kidnapped by the same bad dudes that tried to kill The Professor from 1985! And they had their own phone booth!
Now, Scotty has more on his plate than he bargained for. Entrusted with an unreliable time traveling phone booth, Scotty McCall tries to balance his budding professional wrestling career with traveling through time to right all the wrongs that the villainous time travelers are creating through time while also trying to find The Professor so that he can get out of this mess before he even gets involved in this mess in the first place. All the while, still trying to get back home so that he can not give up on his wrestling career back in 1985 so that he can have the life that The Professor showed him in the first, first place.
While Scotty is not the type of guy to use the phone booth for personal gain, the phone booth seems to be in a constant state of malfunctioning that keeps Scotty from controlling when or where he's headed to at any given moment. All this quantum leaping around, Scotty doesn't seem to mind, as long as he's back... back in time.
